Q: Do  you offer a single-subject lesson plan for The Treasure Trove of Literature?

A: Currently, there is no single-subject lesson plan available for The Treasure Trove of Literature because it is fairly simple to schedule on your own. There is a suggested schedule in the introduction to the Treasure Trove Guidebook and Notebook, and it is easy to divide up the lessons into one lesson per day.

Q: Is it all right to use different editions of the literature books?

A: The Treasure Trove of Literature assigns the reading by chapter as often as possible, so in all but a few instances it doesn’t make a difference what edition you use, so long as it is unabridged.

“My son LOVED reading the Wizard of Oz. He made the brochure, which we both enjoyed!” —Margaret, NY

We have completed Treasure Trove Level 1 and half of Level 2, and this literature curriculum is one-of-a-kind fantastic. I find the discussion questions, virtue study and hands-on activities so helpful in bringing the books to life for the kids.

My daughter did a great job presenting her fort project on Madeleine Takes Command to our family. Thank you, Catholic Heritage Curricula for your wonderful Treasure Trove of Literature series. It is one of her favourite homeschool subjects!

My middle schooler has found a love for reading and gained much more fluency in his vocabulary with this program. He has also gained creative wings. The projects have made all the difference in the world. We have had sooo much fun with Treasure Trove, Level 2.

“Notebooking and drawing each chapter of The Wizard of Oz.” —Luzaideth, FL

My middle schooler completed the first Treasure Trove of Literature last year, and is working on the second course this year. Although CHC has the program for students in lower grades, it is a good fit for my son. He is an avid reader; the program has exposed him to a variety of genres, taught him literary terms, and helped him to express his comprehension through answering questions and drawing illustrations. Very well done!

“My daughters completed their forts after reading Madeleine Takes Command from Treasure Trove of Literature 2.” —Andrea, GA

I have been homeschooling my 6 kids for 6 years now. This is the absolute best reading curriculum I have ever found!! I've bought and tried probably close to 30 different reading comprehension programs. This one is the most well done and age appropriate that I have ever encountered. If you buy only one thing from Catholic Heritage Curricula, this should be it!

“My daughter made all green snacks to share with her siblings for her study of The Wizard of Oz!” —Margaret, NY

I have been homeschooling my niece and nephew for three years now and they both absolutely LOVE your Treasure Trove of Literature series. They are exceptionally well done, I love the tie-ins to our faith, they teach literature in a wonderful and engaging way, and they make complex concepts very easy to understand for students. It's also exceptionally easy to use from the teacher perspective. Five stars for this series!

"My son became an avid reader with the Treasure Trove series. I am truly thankful." —Luzaideth, FL

We absolutely love the Treasure Trove series. As a parent I was worried about how to teach literature to my children and I can truly say this is a lifesaver. It includes a great variety of the classic books, review questions, and projects and I love how it is separated into very easy and non-overwhelming workload for both parents and students. It has made my stress about teaching this subject nonexistent!
