Joyful
The CHC Approach
CHC materials are designed to keep the joy in education by encouraging a child’s natural love for learning and discovery. Engaging text and workbook assignments are at the center of the lesson, which is then wrapped in multi-sensory activities.
Hands-on projects and activities

In order to keep the joy in homeschooling, CHC makes sure there are plenty of hands-on activities and story-based learning to add “spice” to the school day. Rather than subjecting children to mind-numbing exercises that sap the life from learning, CHC takes a multi-sensory approach. CHC materials include hands-on activities that appeal to different learning styles and attract and engage children at each stage of development.
This is true not only for subjects like science, in which there are a wealth of hands-on experiments, but also subjects like literature and religion. Instead of expecting students to absorb dry, stiff lessons, CHC feeds children’s creativity with crafts, outdoor games, drama activities, cooking recipes, and more.

CHC’s materials are colorful and aesthetically pleasing, drawing students in and imparting a taste for timeless beauty. At the same time, CHC’s materials are modern and up-to-date, enabling students to engage with their world in a way that is grounded and current. Besides being high quality and beautiful to work from, CHC materials are also engaging: each lesson, story, and activity is carefully crafted by experts who understand and love children. CHC brings back the joy in learning!
No busy work

In contrast to many homeschool programs, CHC’s curriculum eschews busy work. Rather than endless assignments that exhaust the young learner, CHC’s approach features bite-sized lessons that actually deepen the child’s understanding and keep him coming back for more.
CHC’s lessons are carefully designed so that students can achieve mastery and retain what they learn without meaningless busy work. This targeted approach means students grow academically by leaps and bounds, have time and energy to pursue extracurricular activities, and experience the joy of learning.
