The two history books (All Ye Lands and From Sea to Shining Sea) we've been using are incredible! The focus on untold stories about Catholic characters that helped discover and shaped the New and Old World is fantastic. No other history books tell the truth about our history like these books tell it.

We simply love CHC history!!! Every Friday we gather together with friends to review the chapter studied that week and often we enjoy the enrichment activities. This picture portrays Governor James Moore of South Carolina, Fr. Angel de Miranda, 2 Pocahontas, and Chief Powhatan after reading Chapters 5-6 in From Sea to Shining Sea.
My son has free reading time at the end of our regular subjects. He generally chooses some book from the library or other entertaining fiction. Yesterday instead, he asked for his history book From Sea to Shining Sea because he "wanted to know how it turned out." He has never asked to read any other textbook in 3 years of homeschooling. Thanks for the great resources!
