Q: What is the difference between the grade-level lesson plans and the single-subject lesson plans?

A: Both are complete daily lesson plans, but the grade-level lesson plans includeĀ allĀ the core subjects in that grade level. Single-subject lesson plans are designed for families who want a daily plan forĀ only one subject. Each single-subject lesson plan features one-page-per-week detailed daily lesson plans with check-boxes, clear weekly goals, a ā€œYear at a Glanceā€ chart, and room for notes.

"Creating a 'Continent Cake' project for All Ye Lands." ā€”Juli, IL

I wanted to thank you for all the wonderful suggested enrichment activities in the Hands-On Study Guide for All Ye Lands included in the lesson plans. For example, my son just finished the All Ye Lands chapter on Russia. We were able to find The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima so the children and I have been watching two parts per day. And I mean all the kidsā€”not just my 6th grader. It has sparked lots of discussion! The entire family is enriched by the enrichment activities!

Thanks for putting together a terrific program! We couldn't be more pleased. We chose to do the ā€œcontinent cakeā€ today as one of the enrichment activities for All Ye Lands included in the 6th grade lesson plans and single-subject lesson plans. I helped them bake the cake, but my son did all the design, planning, and sculpting, and my other two children helped him ice the cake.

My daughter made the Ten Commandment stone tablets using homemade play dough, a Chapter 3 enrichment activity suggested in the lesson plans for All Ye Lands. Now to inscribe them....

All Ye Lands enrichment activity for Chapter 1. The funnest project she has been able to complete on her own. She made the volcano out of air dry clay, painted it with tempera paints and loaded it up with baking soda. It was a lot of fun!
